Your Panthers Volleyball team split with Fall Creek on Thursday night. In the 7th grade match, the Panther battled the Falcons to three sets but ultimately came up just short. Coach Cole noted that "Mia Wargel did excellent at coverage, Charlotte Ensminger had amazing serves, and Julianna Wilder had great blocks. So proud of those girls! They didn’t give up no matter what!" The Panthers are 1-1 on the season. In the 8th grade game, the Panthers were victorious in straight sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-16. Logan Bogaards had 5 kills, 3 aces, and 1 dig. Bree Knox had 1 kill, 2 blocks, and numerous assists to our hitters. Peyton Miles had 8 kills and 3 aces. Tynlee Gardner had 7 digs. Kavanaugh Linnane had 1 kill and 1 block. Timber Gordon had 1 kill and 1 block. Emme Medina had 1 kill. Coach Hauser commented that it was an "Amazing team performance tonight by all 9 girls all around. Everyone had to help each other for each point and never gave up on a ball. So incredibly proud of all the girls." The Panthers are 2-0 to begin the season and host Westfield next Tuesday.
