The Panthers volleyball squads dropped two tough games to Westfield on Tuesday night. In the 7th grade match, the Panthers lost in two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-9. Alyssa Schroder was highlighted by Coach Cole for her strong defensive performance. Mia Wargel had multiple great serves during the contest. The 7th Grade Panthers are 1-2 on the season. In the 8th grade match, the Panthers battled in both sets but ultimately dropped both by scores of 25-21 and 25-18. Logan Bogaards had 4 kills, 2 aces, and 1 dig. Bree Knox had 2 kills and 1 ace. Peyton Miles had 9 kills and 1 ace. Kavanaugh had 2 kills, 1 ace, and 1 block. Emmerson Medina had 1 ace. Coach Hauser noted that "It was a great team effort tonight, but certain things just didn't go our way. We all fought hard and kept each other motivated and staying positive which is a win in itself. All the players should be proud as they all played hard and never gave up against a good team." The 8th Grade Panthers are 2-1 on the season. Both teams return to action on Thursday at Noblesville East.
